Residents of Ibeere community in Imota Local Council Development Area (LCDA), have commended the administration of Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele, for the remarkable transformation after the grading of major roads in the community, to create access and interconnectivity.
Following the grading, the road, which previously posed serious challenges to motorists and other road users, is now smooth and motorable, bringing relief to the entire community.
The intervention is part of the Benson-led administration’s commitment to infrastructure development and improved road access by prioritizing grading of key inner roads that directly impact the daily lives of the people.

The grading covered major stretches within the area, including the Unity Heights Community Development Association (CDA) and adjoining routes.
Following the completion of the grading, residents expressed appreciation to the council leadership for responding to their long-standing concerns. Many described the transformation as a major relief, noting that the improved road has eased movement, reduced vehicle damage, and enhanced access to homes, schools, and businesses.

Local traders and transport operators also reported a boost in economic activities, as the improved road restored confidence among drivers and customers. The once-neglected route is now bustling with movement, creating new opportunities for small businesses and daily commerce within the community.
Community leaders and stakeholders described the grading of roads in Ibeere Community, particularly the Unity Heights CDA axis, as a clear demonstration of purposeful governance and commitment to inclusive development.

The traditional head of the community, Baale Yisa Kayode Bakare, Baale of Ibere Atorin (Ayanolu), commended the council’s administration for its people-oriented approach, and responsiveness to grassroots’ needs.
